     These problems may be taken as a parody on the type of
analogies appearing in many IQ-tests.  They may entertain you,
but will also require some knowledge, persistence and under-
standing of what is going on.  A preliminary version of this
test was taken by a number of high-IQ society members, and
analysis of their answers helped to eliminate some less satis-
factory problems.  A preliminary norming shows that a close to
perfect score on the remaining 52 analogies is only achievable
by approximately 1 in a million individuals.

     When attempting this test, you may use reference books
but not consult other persons.  There is no time limit.  When
you feel you'll not find any more solutions, send your answers
with US $5 scoring fee (cash only) or 10 Dutch guilders to the
address on top of this page.  Please mention your name, age, sex
and scores on previously taken IQ or aptitude tests; this will
make future renormings possible.  Within two weeks you will receive
a score report, containing the number of problems solved correctly
and your estimated IQ and percentile scores with respect to the
general population.
